History

The Los Angeles Mountains are a rugged range of mountains located in Southern California, with a rich history dating back thousands of years. The area was first inhabited by the Tongva people and later colonized by the Spanish for ranching and farming. In the late 1800s, the mountains became a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts, and were even used as a filming location for Hollywood movies. Today, the mountains are home to a variety of wildlife and offer endless opportunities for outdoor recreation, including hiking, biking, camping, and picnicking.
